Went for my annual eye test this week. There’s history of both Glaucoma and Iritis in my family, so it’s prudent to get checked regularly. The good news was that my eye health is no worse than last year and my current glasses prescription remains the same.
I also went to the GPs to check my blood pressure (there’s a self-serve machine in the waiting room you can just pop in and use). Again, no problems.
I planned my Saturday around being able to watch Gary Numan’s Glastonbury debut. Very glad I did. Raven and Persia accompanied him on a couple of songs. If you get a chance, check out Raven Numan’s own releases, they are great, too.
I ‘accidentally’ bought a couple of new VSTis - Big Butter, and Bottom - both created by DAW Junkie. They are both fantastic - rich sounds, lots of depth and simple interfaces. There’s a free version of Big Butter (called Butter), so you can try before you buy. (I have no vested interest.)
Learnings
I spent a lot of time dwelling on the past, ‘what-ifs’ and ‘if only’s, regretting. Don’t do it! It’s not healthy.

Three LinkedIn posts, one Ode Map post.
No progress on the creative writing.
Work(-ish)
A fractional ops role crossed my desk, which I am pursuing.
